Hello, I am Marwa.

I fly a lot, and I have never once been able to answer the question people actually ask when they get back from somewhere. Not how was it, but what was it like. What did you do for those eleven hours. Was the layover worth booking on purpose. Did you sleep, and where, and did it help.

A photo grid cannot answer any of that. It keeps the four good minutes of a two week trip and quietly throws away the shape. So this site keeps the shape. Every flight, drive, train, ferry and walk sits at the length it actually took, and the videos and photographs are pinned inside those hours at the minute they happened. A sixteen hour flight is long here. It is supposed to be.

So far that is one trip, 7 legs and 53h in transit. I am still adding older ones from memory and from boarding passes, so the log grows backwards as well as forwards.

About the gear

Everything in the kit was bought with my own money and carried on a trip that is on this site. Some of those links earn a commission. Nothing gets on the list for paying to be there, and the things I stopped using stay listed with the reason, because a list of only good opinions is not a list, it is an advertisement.
