Bose QuietComfort Ultra
$429 in August 2025 · 4.5 out of 5 · 1 trip
The only thing that makes a sixteen hour flight survivable.
I have owned three sets of these over eight years. The current ones are the first where I can wear them for a full long-haul without my ears aching, and the case is finally small enough to not be a decision.
What I would change
The case still opens the wrong way in a seat pocket. Every time.

Where to get it
Some of the links below earn me a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. It does not change what ends up on this page. Everything here was bought with my own money and carried on a real trip, and the things I stopped using are still listed, with the reason.
